I Go Looking For FearI Go Looking For FearI Go Looking For Fear
Late at night, I go looking for fear On the best of nights I find it

CHORUS OF CLOWNSCHORUS OF CLOWNSCHORUS OF CLOWNS
You'll never find what you've been looking for You'll spend your life in this "revolving door" Writing the most painful parts down Sang the chorus of clowns

She had a black hat on with a great, wide brim She had a "balcony" a man could do Shakespeare on "Jim" She could look after your body just like a nurse And most of a drug store tucked away in her purse

SEVEN CENTS AND A COMBSEVEN CENTS AND A COMBSEVEN CENTS AND A COMB
There is so much more to life than meets the eye There are times it seems the hardest part is finding strength to try But I put my back against the wind
And wander on alone, With seven cents baby,
Seven cents and a comb
When you give it all you've got as long as you can And the one you love gives what you've earned to some other man It's hard to tell the bitter from the sweet And harder to stay stoned With seven cents baby Seven cents and a comb
There's a sadness you can't soothe And sins too dark to mention

I'm getting "full of myself"
and peeking at comments. I complimented someone (i thought) for taking one of my pieces for a fave then got what seemed to be a hurt or snotty reply (I'm not sure which). I feel compelled to Thank people who read at my site. It seems to be a web of computer etiquette and some very nice supporters suck and some arrogant assholes have lots of talent so honesty is hard work. I'd have to sit in front of the monitor all day to stay on top of this shit. I don't know how you've stood it this long.

or else it succeeds in its attempt
to break my pens and eat them.
